The training went so well!
When we first started I thought we were just going to use the prompts provided to hypothesize some ideas and pitch.
But the process ended up being much deeper, holistic, and ultimately allowed us to explore each step of the process in a highly structured way.
The benefit to this I felt was it allowed me to develop skills I didn’t have as much before (such as drawing low fidelity prototypes) and even getting better at interviewing people when doing customer discovery or usability testing.
I really liked how structured everything was. There were clear action items that needed to be completed which I really enjoyed because just being given a prompt and being told “build something” with no framework would have been extremely daunting for me.
The program had a fantastic dualistic component that involved concept introduction and theory, followed by immediate application. I found this to be an impactful learning style. We were given creative liberty to think of ANY solution, based on first hand research, which in itself is a fulfilling and fun venture.
I really enjoyed the hands-on approach to this training experience. I liked using sticky notes to organize our thoughts and go through an actual sprint process. I was impressed with how much we were able to accomplish in a short period of time.
